I Love Rossendale!

Written by: Emily Panton

Live life to the full in the Rossendale valley!

I Love Rossendale was set up in 2013 by Lisa Costello and Andrew Thomas with the aim to helping small businesses in Rossendale Valley with online and offline marketing solutions, web design, and to promote Rossendale, its attractions and its businesses to people outside the area.
Working mainly from Rawtenstall, I Love Rossendale has grown in notoriety within the area, being featured in the Rossendale Freepress and Lancashire Telegraph on numerous occasions; always putting Rossendale in a positive light!

PLACES TO GO IN ROSSENDALE

The picturesque landscapes that surround the Rossendale Holiday Cottages offer a number of fantastic routes for walking. Why not take a walk to the famous Halo Structure and enjoy dramatic views overlooking the Rossendale Valley, with Darwen Tower and Peel Tower visible on the horizon. Or, if you fancy something a little more strenuous, then perhaps you will enjoy a stroll to the outdoor gym which has just been installed right on our doorstep.

The scenic landscapes of Rossendale are best explored on horseback, so why not give it a go! Dam Top Horse Riding Centre comes very well reviewed, being ranked at number 8 on TripAdvisor's 'Fun things to do in Rossendale' list.

If you're feeling adventurous why not broaden your horizons and try something new, like Ski Rossendale, the north west's largest dry ski slope! A fun day out for everybody, we promise you won't be disappointed!

We're offering an exclusive deal in collaboration with Rossendale Golf Club. When you book a stay at Rossendale Holidays, you can enjoy a complimentary 4 ball round of golf! Don't miss out; check out our website for more details on this fantastic offer before it's gone.

Nutritious and delicious food and drink goes hand in hand with an active lifestyle, and Rossendale has it all. Regardless of your taste, we guarantee there's something for you!

On the last Sunday of every month, Rawtenstall town centre comes to life when its Farmers Market is in action. With 25 different vendors all bringing something unique to the market, you can buy everything from bread and meat to soap and plants. Everything is locally sourced and freshly prepared so you know it's going to be good!

Located in the heart of Rawtenstall, Fitzpatrick's accredited Temperance Bar has been making soft drinks for the people of Lancashire for 116 years. It is thought to be the last remaining original Temperance Bar in the UK, making it well worth a visit! Their award-winning Sarsaparilla is highly recommended!

For something a little different, Lolo's Vegan and Raw Restaurant and Store is a unique find. In the heart of Ramsbottom (home to one of the top three high streets in Britain), this new shop and restaurant boasts a whole host of fresh and nutritious dishes, which change with the season. If you're around on a Wednesday or a Thursday, their midweek offer of three courses for £13 is not to be missed!
